Well said. He totally changed the way I saw music in general. It’s exaggerating for me to say he’s revolutionized music as a whole but I think it’s fair to say that he’s brought a lot of new stuff to EDM. Like he once said, there’s no verse, verse, chorus, and all that stuff in his music, but instead, it just kind of flows in its own chopped up way.

I think that’s what it’s done to my personal way of listening to music. It’s definitely opened up my mind to listening to different types of music, even if they’re structured differently, or contains different sounds. Skrillex is just noise to a lot of people, and maybe it is, but then again, isn’t all music just noise? It’s what you make of the noise. What Skrillex’s really done to the way I listen is that he’s taught me to hear music in noise.
